Hi,

I need to amplify my Big Baby and would prefer to do it without messing with the bridge or suspending mics in the body etc., therefore like the idea of a soundhole pup.

Any suggestions/recommendations.

PS: the cheaper the better (Xmas is still hurting).

Thank you

Maplin?!? - ...and they sound okay? Now I certainly wouldn't have thought of looking there.

Thanks for the tip though - there's one here in Leicester close to my office. I need a new catalogue anyway.

Seriously....I was in the Liverpool one just after new year, and they had the JHS type soundhole ones for £15, and the one I bought was even cheaper at £12......And it sounds pretty good too......I've been playing it in quite a small bedroom through my PA at quite high volumes, and the little bugger refuses to feedback......

Bill Lawrence do them. Good tone too. £54.95. Gordon Giltrap recently bought one from us.
