i have this charvel guitar that i use only the bridge pickup but there is a cavity for another pickup ..

Yeah, look at the guitar AC/DC's Malcolm Young uses, and do what he's done. Everything has been removed from that guitar...one volume control and the bridge pickup are all that remain. Just play the thing!

Why? He could just install a cover in that case. Much easier.

Been there - done that...My LP has a P90 sized Humbucker... It's cool on a guitar that I'll use it with, but, I doubt I'll be doing any blues solos on my Flying Vee
