I have the newest edition of the digitech whammy (IV?). It's pretty new, it was an xmas present. It just started going 'out of tune'...most noticeably on the octave setting. Sounds UGLY. Digitech says I can recalibrate it, which sounds easy enough, and I am going to try tonite, hopefully it works.

Does anyone have any experience with this? I've only had it 3 months, and the pedal has only moved 4 or 5 times or so for gigs since then, mounted on my pedalboard in a nice padded case. Do I need to expect to have to calibrate it every couple of times I move it?

you shouldnt need to calibrate your pedal ever time you move it - if its happened that easily id try recalibrating it once and if it goes out again take the piece of shit back.
