Care to share about meeting celebrities?

As an airport employee, I've had some memorable experiences with famous people or groups:

Met the legendary rock group YES, but didn't know until someone told me that I was just talking to them...(I recognize their music, just never expected to meet them live, at a public airport!)

Fueled/unloaded equipment from Reba McIntire's pink DC9.
Toured Def Leppard's private jet.

So, yesterday was a "historic" event.

Even more important than Obama's inauguration, my wife got to have lunch with Carlos Santana, during a business meeting in Chicago!

She didn't even know who he was, until someone told her, but she figured I'd know him, since I'm a guitarist...

When she told me, I had to ask; "Did you get his autograph, or anything?"

She said she thought it would be rude, so she didn't, but I respect that.

How much would a plastic fork that he used be worth, anyway? Just kidding, ewww.

Yes, I can fully understand her. At business lunches one isn't supposed to be acting as a 'fan', but rather as a co-guest. Still man I wouldn't have been able to keep my eyes from him
