After recently discovering the works of Vai and Satch im now after a guitar with a floyd rose style locking trem. Im considering either a squier stagemaster or the vintage jackson copy. I have seen both advertised for a good price. Any comment on above guitars ? I suppose in a few months i could afford an Ibanez but i cant wait that long.

I had a Jackson with a nice floaty trem. The action was fantastic and the neck was really thin. It was amazing how well it stayed in tune. Unfortunately the pups were pap. Plus I always either picked too hard or pressed the heal of my hand down too hard.

Cheers, Steve W

I can do you a very nice black Jackson PS2 S/H for £180 with humbuckers in place of the single coils and switching for out of phase and series/parallel sounds. :O)
