Hi. I just tried DADGAD tuning, mighty nice sounds. I was wondering if anyone has any sites with good chord references for this tuning, or could recommend literature? Any popular tunes played in it? I'd just like some general info on suggested chord forms, and what other people do with it. J Heinz

Are you using a slide with it?If not then give it a try.Thats where open tunings shine. Change the G to an F# though

Yeah open D.With the G thrown in there then you dont get the chords like you would with an F#. Open D minor sounds nice D A D F A D

DADGAD sounds pretty good playing Kashmir or Black Mountain Side.
