Yes I use it. Clean it has a great acoustic sound to it, good for some types of rhythm things. A tad overdriven, it has a nice jazzy sound to it. Notes in the 9th to tenth fret range sound especially sweet to me. (It's a 2004 American Deluxe with the SCN pups.) I also like it mixed in with the bridge pup, S1 switch in or out, clean or crunchy.

My stock Tele neck pick up sounds much sweeter to me and its output is equal with the bridge p.u. In the mid 70's I used the bridge pick ups on Les Pauls for everything except leads, now I've gravitated to the middle or neck positions on all my two pick-up guitars and use the Strat's neck pick-up only. Times and tastes change.
