I am looking for an acoustic £200 to £300. Went to the shops yesterday...
Everyone recommends Seagull, Simon & Patrick etc. But they look like they have just rolled out of a Canadian logging factory. In contrast, my eye was caught by a Epiphone Hummingbird, bound fingerboard, fancy inlays etc..the Nashville look!
The Epi didn't sound much different from the S&P. I'm thinking of buying the Hummingbird

Not if it's the guitar you like......If it feels right for you, you like the way it sounds, and it looks good to you, then it's the right guitar for

I had the chance to buy one second hand about six months ago and didn't as cash was a bit tight. To be honest, I loved it. Great tone, nice action and value for money. They also look nice!

I've seen one at £150 second hand. Epi Hummingbirds are about £250 brand new... What the hell! My workmates at our jam session laughed when I turned up with a sunburst Telecaster so I might as well go *completely* country on 'em.

Who are these retards who dare to laugh at sunburst Telecasters? They must be eliminated!
