
Yes I know you probably can’t invest in a complete sound proof studio just so you could record your podcast, songs or whatever else you are trying to record still there is a lot you can do in order to create a better and clearer sound for your recordings.
First rule never record when it is noisy outside, no matter how good your isolation is if you hear noise from outside it would appear on your recording.
So wait for the relatively quite hours and if your not sure record the room noise to see how loud it sounds.
Have a carpet or if you have wood floor then a rug would be better and complete it with acoustic absorption panels. You’ll be amazed at the difference.
Now you just have to solve the other problem, the noise you make for anyone else and there are many soundproofing solutions some of them not very expensive and it really depends on how much noise you create. In any case you can check few suggestions
