Something like a Hot/Cool Rails from Seymore Duncan? Anyone have these?

I have a Cool Rails in the neck position of my Peavey Falcon. When wired up to 500K pots, this pickup has a thicker, throatier version of a Strat neck pickup - with no hum. Works very well with high gain, maybe a bit too deep clean (but you can coil-tap it for more of a clean tone) - and it pairs well with a SD Vintage Rails in the middle.
Don't know how it would compare to the Carvin, though....

The sound like a mild humbucker. More highs than Hot Rails. More midrange and low end than single coils. A very nice pickup and a good value!

Thanks for your input! After a little digging at the Carvin site I found some sound samples of the twinblade pup. I think it will be a solid choice for my Bolt-T.
