Hey, I got a guitar that doesn't even have volume or tone knobs and the strings have never been changed for 40 years since my Grandpa owned it, and he had taken the strings off an old piano they were throwing out and put them on this guitar. And the finish is actually shoe polish and the frets are 16 penny nails and the tuners are thread spools and the bridge is a cows rib and the pickguard is an asbestos tile.
Man, it plays great!
