I've very intested in this guitar, however it appears there is no back cavity for the electronics AFAICS. How exactly do you get to the wiring for the pickups and toggle?

Pretty much as you would on a semi hollow guitar with no F-holes: through the pickup cavities. Patience can definitely be a virtue.

Would/do you make a jig for the wiring harness?

You could if you wanted to; it's not a big deal to do so, it would only need to be a piece of wood with some appropriately-placed holes in it.

However, I'm not sure there would be a lot of point in doing this with a new guitar, unless it had suffered serious damage. The parts as stock should be of high quality.

What did you have in mind?
