More great news for Pink Floyd fans

I talked to Radio 2 today via email about an upcoming in depth documentary about Pink Floyd, which is authorised by Gilmour and Mason and contains never heard before tape recordings of the band (according to one of my sources.)

The documentary will be on the first week in February. There will be a feature on the website a week before.

Who wants some dead presidents to tape it for me????

'Dear' Mr. Ashcroft - in light of things being the way they are, I should point out that the words dead presidents are, in this case, nothing more than slang for money.

good thing you pointed that out before the CIA is at you'er door. it's a safe bet Ashcroft never watched the movie 'dead presidents'.

anyway why pay for it? if it's a 1hour show it could be ripped as 96bit mp3 and swaped online.

I'm not the least bit familiar with that (the more I learn about these things the more I need to learn) - how's the video quality?

Very much obliged! As it gets closer I'll get with you about covering your costs and all. Fortunately there are a bunch of folks from the UK here so it's easy to get video converted. Then I can make copies for the US folks that want them.

No Tim, its not on the TV. Its a radio documentary. So it will be on a audio tape cassette.

Otherwise, I'm sure someone here'll be happy to record it - me, if no one else wants the job...
