Hi all

Those with XT's may well know that beta USB drivers were out to allow USB audio recording a little while ago.

The drivers on the site are now the public release (they kept that pretty quiet). The Pod firmware is now at 1.02, and I am led to believe that the new tone transfer software will be on line later today. This is Line 6's own version of Soundiver, and (on paper) it looks rather fab 'n groovy.

You can go get the USB driver plus firmware at http://www.line6.com/support.asp?ID=201 And hopefully the tone transfer stuff later today Californian time. So tommorow night for us probably...

What I want to know is if / when there is a 'Pro' version of the XT coming out (rack mount, full range of connections including SPDIF etc.) preferably with some new amp models e.g. the Cornford MK50 and the modded JCM 800 that was so popular on the POD 2. And the Soldano X88 Preamp come to that!

I also understand that the Pod Pro had better quality D/A converters than the regular Pod.

Any rumours as yet?

Cheers
