Greetings

I am looking to buy a new Ibanez 'Jem' and would value any opinions on the best model to choose. I will be playing rhythms from Sabbath, Maiden, Rush etc and lead from the same.

pretty much any of them will do you.

however, for the maximum growly sounds and the cool dark industrial look (and presuming you're looking to spend shop 'new' prices, not s/h) your best bet would likely be the JEM7DBK.

With all due respect I don't think there are many people around who know the Ibanez guitars like Clive so the JEM7DBK is my choice.

In my defense I hung up my Ibanez anorak a few years ago. But yeah I no more about Ibanez that any other brand for some strange reason.
