Paul's latest live set, Back In The U.S. has sold a very healthy 223,000 copies to land at No. 8 on this weeks Billboard top 200 album chart! Paul getting into the top 10 during the most competitive part of the year is a real joy! Paul-back in the top 10 where he belongs

Good news indeed, it's just a pity that Driving Rain didn't do so well-one of Sir Paul's best albums.

You obviously heard wrong then.

Its got about 30 songs (most are complete), backstage stuff, a couple of soundchecks, interviews with fans, etc.

What I've heard, from several sources, is that too many of the songs are interupted with interviews and crap. Since I've heard all of these songs before, that alone is enough to convince me that it does, in fact, blow.

It is a concert documentary - not a straight concert shooting. In that regards, the interviews and cuts are welcome and expected and they certainly make this DVD the best concert DVD Paul has released. And to get to #8 in the charts, it takes many more than the folks just here in RMB. So, I will consider that the average Joe does NOT think it blows, and I would have to heartily agree.

Wel if you've already heard the songs enough then one would think the interviews and such would be of interest. In other words, it un-blows.

That's just it. There is no competition. The top 100 reeks of lame at the moment The top 2 positions are held by country-pop. This worked wonders to Paul's advantage. Bet it drops like a lead balloon next week.

Why? What I have not heard is a McCartney concert in DVD quality sound, and that's what I want. It may be #8 now, but it will fall fast.
