Hi group!

This is a complete long shot, but I'm looking for a volume/tone knob for a Peavey T60 guitar. I've tried Peavey themselves and they no longer stock them (guitar went out of production in the 80s), and I'm watching ebay like a hawk but no joy.

If anyone out there has a spare volume/tone knob, or a T60 they're breaking for parts please let me know!

Best Regards

You startin' a Zydeco band?

A T-60 is the sound of Zydeco guitar.... The secret to modifying the tone, is to wire it up with a lamp cord and leave a hunk of solder the size of a quarter on the back of the pots. ;o)

Honestly, aside from the looks of those things they were made like tanks...and in the US for very little money. Good luck.

I don't know if you've found your knobs yet but there is a listing on Ebay for a set of 3. I think that they are around $10.00. Just do a search by "Peavey".

I have some T-60 parts. Other than the knobs, is there anything else you're looking for?

I'm looking for the T-60 phase toggle switch. Would you happen to have one?

Hello Dan:

most of the toggle switches Peavey used are common electronic switches.

Radio shack sells them , online electronic stores sell them.

go to peavey's website and ask them for the schematic, they should have a copy of it laying around.

the switches run $3.00 on an average,

take care
George

Thanks George. Yea I found a DTDP mini-switch at Radio Shack that was a good clone, for $3.52.

I just bought 4 of the peavey T-60 knobs, let me do some checking and see how many I will really need, I have a
T-60 that was missing a knob last year and I put different knobs on it, I saved the knobs that were on it at the time, I'll look and see how many I have all together my T-26 has the original knobs on it so I may only need one knob , how many do you need ????

You can use my e-mail to stay in touch
