Hi, I have a Jackson Kelly electric guitar that I just pulled out the old pickups and popped in some EMG 81/85 active pickups and I'm having problems with the wiring. None of the schematics match my guitar that are off the EMG site and even using them as reference I have failed to hook this up right. I have no output whatsoever. I did read something about my volume pot may not be the right size, I believe I might need a 25k volume pot. My Kelly has 1 Volume pot, and a 3-way selector switch. Any ideas?.. I have no image yet of my control cavity but will try to get one up soon.

Ohmy That's a difficult one to tackle. I will try to find out and let you know.
