Hello

I've got at bit of a GAS attack, combined with luddite tendencies, which could be dangerous:

I've already got rid of an old multi FX in favour of a collection of pedals, and now I want to replace my little Peavey transistor amp with a little valve amp.

I don't need much volume - 20W should be plenty (I gather valves are louder than transistors for the same quoted power...?). I want it to have a great clean sound, and be good for blues, and indie type stuff, so masses of gain isn't required. An effects loop would be good (I think), and reverb. Two channels nice but not essential.

I've had a little web surf and seen the Fender Blues Junior and Pro Junior, and the Ashdown Peacemaker 20.

Any other suggestions or comments out there?

Laney LC15/LC15R? Cornford Harlequin nice but only 6 watts.

Nope. Might sound louder though Certainly sound better ))

The Traynor 40 watt combo looks nice too.

I have a Classic 30, sounds very nice at low volumes also. And can really wail if you want.
