I was looking at the Maya 1010 soundcard with breakout box. It looks pretty cool. I saw it a newegg.com for $224. I used to have an Aardvark rack mounted unit, but I sold it on ebay. The damn xlr/1/4' combo jacks would sometimes short out a little on me. I don't think there is enough support for the typical 1/4 plug with having the jack cutout to accept the xlr plugs too. It looks like the Maya has dedicated 1/4' plugs. I mainly just jam with friends, and like to record cover songs just for kicks. I use Sonar to record with, but I have a low-end Soundblaster Live card. Any advice on this would be welcome.
Thanks,

I'm using an M-audio Delta-66 with an athlon processor - aparently these have the fewest via/athlon issues and they sound great.
