Apparently a teacher has been arrested in the UK in possession of compasses, protractors, and straight edges. It is claimed he is a member of the Al Gebra movement bearing weapons of maths instruction.

I did indeed, and it was a lift from one of those emails that circulate - I think a google search turned up dozens of links too, it was *so* common then. But a good joke can bear repetition - although that may not be relevant here ...

There is a restaurant I frequent that, I believe is a front for the group known as Al Dente. I have with my own eyes seen evidence of weapons of mastication.
