When Guitar Player ran their cable shoot out a few years back, monster was not the winner. Eric Johnson's cable (why would I be surprised), George L's (guitar center has them, not sure on name spelling) was the winner.

I've saved hundreds of dollars because of this.

If I remember rightly, monster didn't win because of the high price

Guitar Player is the Be all end all of knowledge. Buy what you want to buy, for whatever reason you want to. Its your money, spend it like you want. What was the point in this post? So that you could tell everyone how great George L's are without anyone asking you.

For some reason - buying a cable because it's 'easy to repair' is not a strong selling point for me. I've used the same ProCo cables (the literal same ones) since 1988. I can't imagine what would make patch cables better than that...

If I don't notice a difference between them and my wireless - it can't be an issue.

My 2 cents....

Geoege-L's are good guitar cables regardless of how easy the ends are to put on.Low capacitance, small diameter that is nice and plyable which makes them easy to roll up.They take up a whole lot less space while transporting. If you've never tried them then you might want to give them a shot.I've used a lot of different type cords the same as ya'll and I've never seen any better.Just a matter of opinion of course.
