I just read a post in another ng where the guys were talking about using a little fold away trolley thing to carry their gear into gigs all in one go (these guys are soloists to).
This sounds like a great idea - with bigger gigs I'm currently making about ten trips back and forth to the car to get my gear in, and closing the boot each time as I'm paranoid about getting stuff nicked.
Anyone else here use something like this, or know where I could get one?
One guy mentioned something called a 'rock n roller', from the 'Musician's Friend' catalogue, which apparently carries 300Lbs of gear. I haven't heard of this - presumably its a USA publication?

I haven't seen any crates, mainly 10-20 cardboard packed beer multiples. I've occasionally seen colapsable storage boxes, but not crates with subdivisions. When buying booze I usually have to hunt around the shelves for a suitable box to stop the loose bottles rolling around in the car boot.

In that case it must be due to off-licence rules in the UK. There are no such rules in Germany. You can buy beer by the crate from any corner store. You can even buy beer in a Cinema.

When my daughter lived in Cologne, the nearest source was across the road at a petrol station.
