I was watching KERRANGGG or some similar channel yesterday.
There was a video of the red hot chilli peppers, and the guitarist was playing what looked to me like a real hybrid......
Body - ES-335 shaped *except* the soindholes were not the usual 'f' holes but more like the rickenbacker shape.
Neck/head - the head looked like a typical Fender 6-in-a-row as opposed to the usual gibbo 3-a-side, but it did have the gobson logo.
Never seen anything like it - actually looked friggin 'orrible
Anyone know what model?

I think that's in the latest foo fighters video as well. Its got a headstock like an explorer and a 335 body.

Could it be a Gibson Trini Lopez model from the mid-60'? I always fancied one of those 'cos it's a bit different.
