I DID swear by it until I sold it to Trev Ridney of this parish. I loved the guitar, but found that it got little use once my Ibanez RG550 (with Fred) arrived. I was then offered a Laney LC15R by DaveH (also of this parish), at a 'buy me now you idiot' price. I put the VS6 up for sale on the group for £110 inc gig-bag - and Trev bought it literally within minutes.
Trev has now set the guitar up for slide, swapped the pups(I think), and told me I was a fool to sell it ... ho hum, I still love my LC15R though ;o)
You won't find a better SG copy for anywhere near the price. The pickups are pretty good for the money, and the set neck is just lovely.
Have a new one sitting in the house here, Tom, still with the polythene protection on the back cover. I took it as a p/ex from a mate who fancied an Aria Pro semi I had. It plays really well and sounds good but is surplus to my needs. If you are interested e-mail me. I am in Dunoon on the west coast of Scotland. John Kelly
Now where did I hear that one before? we are of course famous for our North American Indian female singer, who is a relic of the US Navy's occupation of the Holy Loch for many years. Yes, I do of course mean the wonderful Pawnee Mar of Argyll, who did so many Robert Burns' covers. John Kelly
To all those of you caught up in this increasingly punny thread, I can only offer my apologies, and thanks to those who have contributed original insults to my home town. Back to the guitar. Now that we have mains electricity here I can let my wife off the bicycle generator we rigged up when the Calor gas cylinder went done. John Kelly
