what is the best tubes for the fender hot rod deville 60 watt and the deluxe hot rod 40 watt

Well I Wouldnt Just Buy Any Tubes
Too Replace Them

Try The Tube Store Or Jays Tubes
They Seem Fair At
What I Might Call Detailing Your Sound
Or What Your Chaseing Then They Can Recomend
Replacemnts From Talking To You

Thats How Its Done
Unless You Like Your Tone Now And Dont Want To Change Anything

Hey man,

So far the best I've found for the 4/10 deville are winged C's in the power section and a jj ecc83s in the v1 of the preamp. I've also had good luck with jj 6l6's in the power amp but you have to get the double mica versions so they don't crap out on you after a month. These amps are really hard on tubes.I use an old RCA 12ax7 for v2 but that's really dependent on what type of clean tone you want.
oh yeah, don't bias the power tubes hot or they won't last very long. I went through a bunch of winged c 6l6's before i figured that one out!
