What kind of effect pedal should I buy? I have been playing guitar for a couple of years now, and I would like to get an effect pedal, that I could easily work into my playing. I wouldn't want to spend a lot of $ on something I wouldn't know how to use.

I have the Digitech Legend Pro21 and is quite a unit at a good price on the used market. Some other models following even incorperated a tube in the pre-amp.

I also have a Legend Pro21, a Legend II, and a GNX4, because of Digitech's sound quality for effects!

I've heard some of the Line 6 effects, though, and some of them sound pretty good, too, that I'd also consider, if I was shopping for effects.
I'm not a real Guitar Hero, but I play one on TV!

I hear the Line6 PODs are nice and convenient for recording to your PC.
